Interiors - Raised Door Panels and Door Surrounds

Over 40 years ago T.V.'s Barry Bucknell pioneered Do-It-Yourself. Perhaps his greatest legacy today is the hard board covered panel door. Barry sought to bring modern lines to homes where DIY was still very much done to a tight budget. Since the late '90s interiors have come full circle, featureless interiors are no longer in vogue. The Orac Raised Panels and Door Surrounds, bring back character and style into modern interiors.

The skill levels required are surprisingly low. Instead of creating panels from a multitude of trims, with numerous mitres simply apply the one piece panel of your choice to your door. Designs can be mixed on each door, or repeated as appropriate. Simply prepare your door and install using DecoFix Pro.

Each doorway can be finished off with a suitable Door surround. Once again installation is a simple process. Choose between a D200 square or D210 floral block, and there is no need to mitre joints.

Finish off your room with matching skirtings, to complete the effect. When using SX104, SX105, SX118, or SX122 designs unsightly cables can be hidden. Additional atmosphere can be created when choosing Orac ceiling roses, coving and panel mouldings.

Recommendations: Orac Decor Range - Always use Orac DecoFix PRO to achieve the highest standard of installation. Use Orac Fix EXTRA for perfect joints when cornices and panel joints are glued together. Do not paint over Orac approved adhesives for 24 hours for the best results. Select an appropriate MitreBox to achieve the best angled corners. Use Orac Decor for the sharpest detailing.
