Exteriors - Lean-To Canopies
House Martin Lean to
(or Mono Pitch) canopies are ideal for House Builders and DIY enthusiasts. We offer a standard "Bodmin" style canopy which can be supplied in a variety of lengths
of up to 4.4 metres.
The standard Bodmin style is suited to a single door, whilst wider units can be installed on terraced properties to cover 2 front doors and cloakroom windows. The roof finishes are either Cembrit Slate effect or Pan Tile in a choice of Grey, Terracotta, Tudor (dark) Brown, or Breckland (reddish) Brown.
Typically most Lean-to canopies are installed with our decorative gallows brackets in most instances customers choose a pair of GB03s which have an attractive woodgrain effect and curved bar detail. Installation of lightweight GRP canopies is a straightforward procedure, with support coming from the "lead effect" flash band above and hidden timber batten (by others) located inside the canopy.
GB03 brackets are a sensible choice if you choose to take our "Wellington" canopy. This design comes with a tee gee effect soffit and an open truss format ready to accept felt, battens and tiles (by others). Two GB03s used under a standard single door canopy can bear up to 150kg loading. Grp canopies with real tile or slate roofs must have additional support for secure installation.
